Addiction research is the study of addiction to drugs and alcohol for the purpose of finding new and better ways to treat people who suffer from chemical dependency or compulsive behaviors such as gambling addiction and sexual addiction. Women’s Brains More Affected by Alcohol

A study from Idaho State University says that alcohol causes more physiological stress in women than in men. According to the study by Dan Selvage, women release higher leels of stress hormones. This means the hormones could mask other illnesses.
